1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RavenDNS DNS security service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To register for the Service you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You may use filtering profiles under your account to protect the devices of minors or dependents in your care; in that case you remain responsible for their use of the Service.

3. Description of the Service

RavenDNS is a cloud-based security service that provides DNS-level filtering and protection. The Service includes malware and phishing blocking, ad/tracker blocking, category-based content filtering, separate filtering profiles for multiple devices or users, custom allow/block lists, and query history visibility. Available features may vary depending on the plan you select.

DNS filtering relies on known threat and category databases; no filtering solution can guarantee 100% accuracy. The Service is designed to complement, not replace, security software, parental controls, or other protective measures you may already use.

4. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You must keep your account credentials, including your password, confidential, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at [email protected]. You are also responsible for the actions of any sub-user or team member to whom you grant access to your account.

5. Plans, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

The Service is offered through free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually depending on the billing cycle you select. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Iyzico); we do not store your card details on our own systems.

• Some plans may include a free trial period, as indicated at signup. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your selected paid plan will begin automatically and you will be charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• We will provide reasonable advance notice, via the email address associated with your account, of any pricing changes before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will continue to have access to paid features until then, but no partial refunds are provided for unused time. This does not affect any statutory withdrawal or refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law; for such requests, contact us at [email protected].

7. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activities or to access illegal content
• Attempt to damage, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service's infrastructure, servers, or network
• Reverse engineer, attempt to extract the source code of, or resell the Service as part of another product without authorization
• Access another user's account without permission, or infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Send automated or excessive-volume requests that abuse the DNS infrastructure, filtering engine, or APIs

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the RavenDNS brand, logo, interface, software, and filtering infrastructure, belong to RavenDNS or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted by implication.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to meet your payment obligations, or we determine that you are misusing the Service. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends, and data associated with your account is handled in accordance with applicable retention periods and our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or will block every threat. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, are disclaimed.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RavenDNS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or matters that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RavenDNS, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

13. Privacy and Data Processing

Details on how we collect, use, and store your personal data and DNS query logs are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Query log retention periods may vary depending on your plan.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts and enforcement offices of Turkey, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rules that may apply if you are acting as a consumer.

16. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RavenDNS regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
